Andres Bonifacio
He was the founder of the revolutionary organization called the Katipunan and the "father of the Philippine revolution of 1896." Many Filipinos consider him as the foremost national hero of the Philippines. Jose Melo
A lawyer and jurist by profession, Jose Melo was appointed chairman of the Commission on Elections in 2008. He was the man of the moment, the central figure during the historic computerized Philippine elections of 2010, which were the cleanest elections in modern Philippine history.

Blas Ople
He was a writer, a diplomat and a statesman. He was a member of the Constitutional Commission that wrote the Philippine Constitution of 1987. He was elected to the Philippine Senate in 1992 and re-elected in 1998. He died in 2005.
Carlos P. Romulo
He was a general, diplomat and Pulitzer-prize awardee. He served the General Assembly of the United Nations as president from 1949 to 1950 and, later in his life, he worked for the Philippine government as education secretary and foreign affairs minister.
Manuel L. Quezon
He was the first president of the Philippine Commonwealth which was established in 1935 and a passionate advocate of a totally independent Philippines during the American occupation of the Philippines.

Gabriel "Flash" Elorde is an icon in boxing, and he holds the distinction as the longest reigning junior lightweight (super featherweight) champion of the world (1960-1966).
Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao
He is one of the greatest boxers of all time who has won a staggering 8 division titles.
