Typhoons in December

November, December, January and February are the best months of the year in the Philippines insofar as cool weather condition is concerned, but two typhoons hit my country during the recent past week. The events were extremely bizarre. The Philippines was experiencing the "El Nino" effect on the weather for the most part of the year. We had water shortages and drought; then came these two typhoons which caused several local officials to place their localities under a state of calamity.

It is quite interesting to note that just before or after Christmas for about 5-6 years during the last 7 years, the Philippines has been visited by typhoons, and real tragedies occurred because of these weather disturbances.

Extremely bizarre weather events, indeed.

"Hearts Philippines & Then Some" Update

Beginning November, 2015 until February, 2016, new items will be added to the site. The website will also undergo some modifications.

I noticed a problem on my website so I started to correct it immediately. The HOME part - that is, the PHILIPPINES part - has just been edited, and it underwent some changes. I have begun editing the HOME EXTENSION part.
